Sad Grooves

Tree

This is a close-up of a tree I found while roaming around Utah taking photos yesterday. The tree had lost all its bark, and actually looked kinda sad, considering it was surrounded by dozens of beautiful aspen trees that were slowly fading their leaves from green to orange.

I guess it’s just that time of year … when things change, hibernate and fade to let the cold season take over and push the color out of the world. But the coming spring wouldn’t be so beautiful if it didn’t have an ugly snow to melt so it can show its colors again.
